How the web actually gets built

14 years of web design, UI/UX, and front-end build. I help teams in Manila and beyond ship websites and apps that stay clear and fast long after launch.

THE SHORT VERSION

Numbers aren’t the work, but they sketch its shape. Ten of these years I’ve spent leading Dthree Digital, the team behind most of these projects.

Years designing and building the web

Sectors served, startups to institutions

Hi, I'm Hans

I have spent fourteen years designing and building, mostly for the web, and most of it in UI, UX, and information architecture. I co-founded and lead Dthree Digital, a Manila web consultancy, and I still get into the work myself, on client projects and on products of my own.

My approach is simple. Understand the people who will use and maintain the thing, then build it so they can run it without me.

Design and build, end to end

I work as a hands-on consultant across the whole arc of a project, from the first structure to the shipped, maintainable build. Mostly web, which is what Dthree is known for, and apps when the work calls for it. My work sits in four places.

Information architecture

Structure and content strategy that make a site make sense before a pixel is placed.

UI and UX design

Interfaces that are easy to understand and genuinely pleasant to use, on the web and in native apps on iOS and Android.

Web design and build

Design-led builds in Webflow and WordPress that editors can update without a developer.

Design management

The systems, standards, and collaboration that keep quality intact from design to launch.

The team behind the work

When a project needs more than one pair of hands

For full builds and ongoing work, I lead Dthree Digital, a Manila-based web consultancy. Same standard, more capacity.
